Lots of posts

For your information, there are lots of new posts on my blog now. So if you are interested then you can keep browsing. As the Mulk likes to say, "What are you trying to say?" and so I am saying, "Don't just read one post. There are about 6 new ones posted."
Ok - Thanks!

Fun on the Lake

Our friends from the neighborhood invited us to Willard Bay this year and we had a blast! It only cost $10 to get in and the beach was quite nice and the water was really warm. It was hard to get the girls out of the water to leave. Can't wait to go back!

My friend and I

My girls with their friends - all so cute together!

Just so cute (and Kitty LOVES to pose)

These 2 play so well together. It really is fun to listen to their little stories and games they like to make up.

And these 2 are both adventurous and full of energy. They have a great time together.

Camping Adventure

Being the "bad" mom that I am, I completely forgot to bring tennis shoes for Kitty! I brought thick socks to wear, but forgot shoes. I felt REALLY bad!

Kitty playing in the dirt. Isn't that what camping is all about?

The flowers were everywhere this year.

So green and beautiful!

Kitty sitting on a "chair" in the fort the Mulk and Snorr made for her.

Blowing bubbles.

Kitty swinging on the zip line.

Ray-Ray on the zip line.

Time for hot dogs.

The dog that entertained us all.

Snorr and Ray-Ray watching TV one last time before going home.

This is the Mulk waiting for the children to finish watching one last cable TV show before going home (yes, our family cabin has cable TV and because we don't have cable at home, it is a constant battle to get the kids to enjoy the great outdoors instead of watching the great TV). The Mulk said to me, "And this would be my 'hurry up and wait so that we can go home' face." It was only a few minutes later that the electricity "happened" to break down and the TV no longer worked.

This year's trip to my family's cabin was a bit different than the rest. My dad normally has 4 wheelers for the family to ride around on, but this year he didn't have them available. My kids were SOOOO disappointed and the Mulk and I were SOOOO happy! It meant no fighting over who gets to ride first and no whining about how often they get to ride. So we actually camped like "regular folk" and played games and went on hikes and built forts, etc. It was great! We even had my counsin's dog come into camp that LOVED playing fetch, so Ray-Ray and Kitty had a blast playing fetch with him. He was quite a funny dog. If we weren't playing fetch with him, then he would pick up the ball, set it close to our feet, and bark. Then if we ignored him, he would pick it up, put it closer to our feet, and bark again. It was like he was saying, "Here - I will set it closer so that you can reach it. Can we play now?" Anyways, he was fun and helped distract the children from being bored.

Summer at the Zoo

Here are pics from our annual trip to the zoo. Lots of fun!

Snorr being a typical big brother!

Agh!

He's a goner!

Typical Train Picture (Snorr is getting soo big!)

Pic's on Ray-Ray's special trampoline day

I finally downloaded the pics from the day Ray-Ray got her tramp. She was SOOO excited! Here it is 2 months later and she can do all kinds of flips and tricks.

This was the look on her face after completing the scavenger hunt that led to her tramp (I didn't tell her before then that I had taken her money and went to buy it). She was even more surprised than this expression, but by that point she was hugging me so that I couldn't take a picture. :)

Calling grandma with the big news

Loads of fun!

Tree House Museum

Ray-Ray the Ranger

"John Wayne"

Miss Kitty

Fun on the fire truck!

The Turtle Princess

The Starfish

The star of the show

If you've never been to the Tree House Museum in Ogden you should take your kids and go. It is a lot like the Children's Museum in SLC and is a lot of fun (even my 15 year old liked it). We were there for about 3 hours and had fun the whole time. The girls were excited because they got to be in the play that the Museum puts on (you don't have to tell them that the staff makes sure everyone who wants to be included, is included). Ray-Ray got to be the star of the show as the Turtle Princess! She was just beaming! And Kitty got to be a starfish, so she was thrilled, as well.

Kitty's 4th Bday (a few month's later)

Isn't this such a cute cake! Kitty LOVED it!

Such a cute expression!

Ok, so I should have blogged about this a few month's ago, but at least I'm doing it now - right? LOL
Kitty turned 4 and she is so much fun! We love watching her grow up and develop and learn the way she should be. She is so smart, sociable, and loving. We feel blessed to have her in our family.
